3 INGREDIENT BACON ASPARAGUS PASTA

 

A simple delicious dish made for energy! An easy blend of flavours, providing protein and vitamins to get your afternoon started.

      PREP-TIME: 2 MINS             COOK TIME12 MINS

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • Bacon Rashers

  • Fresh asparagus - ends trimmed and cut into two inch pieces

  • Pasta (any style)

  • (optional:) cheese, white wine, sauce

 

DIRECTIONS:

 

Cook the pasta in a large pan/pot of salted water until al dente.

 

Dice your bacon into pieces and add to a sauce pan. Fry on a medium heat and stir now and then until crispy. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and put to one side, but do not drain the grease. Add the asparagus to the pan and saute in the bacon juices for around 5 mins. Don't overcook, look out for a bit of crunch from the asparagus.

 

When the pasta is cooked, drain and add all the ingredients together and stir! From here you can any optional ingredients.
